THE CAR / 01
Toyota built the Chaser as a four-door executive saloon for Japanese commuters. Then the drift scene discovered what was underneath: the 1JZ turbocharged straight-six and rear-wheel drive. It has not been sensible since.
The JZX100 is the one everyone wants: the last of the line, and one of the most loved cars in drifting. This one has the front-mounted intercooler, the stance and the sound to prove it.
THE ROUTES / 02
This is not a forty-minute lap and back. City tours take three to four hours and day tours four to six, because the time around the drive is half the point: meeting the car, opening the bonnet, the stops for photos and video, and the talk about how a Japanese saloon ended up a drift legend.
CITY TOURS 3–4 hours · inside Barcelona
The hill above the port was a Formula 1 street circuit until 1975, and its tight corners and long straights are still there to drive. We head out past the Columbus Monument and the old harbour, climb Montjuïc and run the old Grand Prix layout, then on through the Olympic Ring and the Lluís Companys stadium.
Touge is what Japanese drivers call a mountain pass, and the roads where drift culture was born. Ours is the winding climb up the Collserola hills to Tibidabo, at 512 metres the highest point in Barcelona, with the whole city and the Mediterranean below. It is the greener, curvier side of Barcelona, and we come back down by a different road so the bends never repeat.
DAY TOURS 4–6 hours · out of the city
The C-31 is one of the great coast roads of Spain: cut into the cliffs of the Garraf massif, bend after bend, with nothing between you and the Mediterranean all the way to Sitges. Time on the seafront to walk the old town, then home through the Garraf tunnels.
Montserrat means “serrated mountain”, and from the road you see why: a wall of rock fingers rising straight out of the Catalan plain. The hairpins from Monistrol climb to the monastery at 720 metres; time at the top, then down the far side by the Santa Cecília road.

No. This is a co-rider experience: you are the passenger, and one of our drivers is at the wheel the whole time.
No. On public roads the Chaser is driven legally, in traffic, like any other car. The sound, the look and the city are the show. Sliding sideways belongs on a closed track: if that is what you are after, ask us.
Three to four hours for the city tours, pick-up to drop-off; four to six for the day tours to the C-31 coast or Montserrat. The drive itself is only part of it: we stop for photos and video, show you the car and take the time to talk.
Every tour is private: just you and the people you bring. The Chaser has room for two to three passengers, so you can share the ride with a partner or friends. Message us and we will work it out.
We send them to you after the ride, ready to post.
City tours, the Lost Grand Prix or the Tibidabo Touge, are €300 per tour. Day tours, the C-31 Coast Run or Montserrat, are €850 per tour.
